PLANNING GUIDE / KITCHENS

A better kitchen starts with a clearer brief.

01

Record the room.

Bring a floor plan or approximate dimensions, photographs of each wall, and the position of windows, doors and services. Mark which dimensions are approximate. Final measurements are confirmed before manufacture.

02

Describe daily use.

Note who cooks, how many people use the room, what needs storing and which items should remain accessible. List the appliances you intend to keep or buy, with model details when available.

03

Define the budget and interfaces.

Distinguish cabinetry from appliances, worktops and building services. Compare quotations using the same finish and hardware schedule. Ask who measures, prepares the site, connects services and disposes of existing units.
